Cecilia Edwards is a seasoned strategic advisor and consultant to middle market companies and private equity firms. She works with her clients during any and all stages of the investment cycle to create value and maximize opportunity.

Most recently, Ms. Edwards worked with Skywire Software on its sale to Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL), the world’s largest enterprise software company. As acting COO of the business process outsourcing operation (BPO), Ms. Edwards designed and executed the strategy to separate the BPO into a stand-alone business, restructure the organization, and prepare for its sale to KUBRA Data Transfer, a private equity-backed BPO roll-up – an effort that enable the pure-play sale of Skywire’s enterprise software business.

After the sale, KUBRA retained Ms. Edwards to lead the integration of the two entities. Working with the executive leadership team and board, she is driving the alignment of the two companies’ strategies and operations, and leveraging their combined strength to created increased value in the marketplace.
Ms. Edwards is a strategic advisor to the 21st Century Group, a Dallas-based private equity firm. She provides strategic assessments of investment opportunities and serves as a board member and Chairman of the Compensation Committee of Integrity Packaging and Paris Packaging, two of the firm’s portfolio companies.

During nearly seven years at The Boston Consulting Group, Ms. Edwards provided general strategy and business consulting to Fortune 500 and other major corporations. She consulted across a wide range of industries (including health care, financial services, industrial goods, retail, high technology, and travel and tourism) and a broad spectrum of business issues (including sales force redesign, global export strategy development, performance metric systems design, feasibility studies, financial modeling, best practice analysis, post-merger integration, organization design, and value creation strategies.)

Ms. Edwards has applied her strategic skills in the nonprofit and public sectors. She headed a Dallas-based foundation where she had the opportunity to develop capacity-building programs for executives of 125+ nonprofit organizations, establish a research institute, and lead teams in major civic projects to change the affordable housing, early childhood education, healthcare, and public education systems in Dallas. Her community service efforts now are geared towards youth entrepreneurship and education where she serves as the Chairman for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship Greater Dallas Chapter.

A United States Air Force Veteran (Captain), Ms. Edwards served as a program manager for the Titan Satellite Launch program where she directed the activities of three satellite programs. During her four and a half years of service, she supported the launch of five Titan II and Titan IV rockets.

The common theme throughout her broad experience base is the ability to tackle and resolve complex problems in a way that leads to results and drives value for all stakeholders.

Ms. Edwards earned an AB in mathematics from Smith College and a MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkley.
